Aoife Kavanagh of RTE will speak about the challenge of portraying the complexity of this whole continent. Her talk will be followed by a panel discussion with representatives of the media, both mainstream and immigrant.

BACKGROUND:
Connect-World is organising a seminar to promote discussion and debate about the issues involved in covering Africa in the media. It is part of a series of events involved in Building Unity Through Diversity, an exhibition to promote multi-culturalism in Ireland.
