MINI INPUT 2008
The 13th annual Mini-Input takes place on
SATURDAY 16th February 2008.

Time: 0900-1800hrs
This day-long seminar features screening and discussion about a range of TV programmes and formats made for public television across the world.
Selected from over 80 programmes shown at INPUT 2007, held in Lugano Switzerland last May, all have been chosen for the unique/challenging or innovative way they treat their subject.
Programmes selected this year come from across Europe, Australia, Canada, Scandinavia, Russia & South Africa. Facilitated discussion after each screening is a key part of the day followed by supper at a Restaurant.
Attendance (limited to 40 people) is open to Producer/Directors AND other TV Professionals who have made programmes broadcast on television at home and/or abroad.
COST: €35 (non-refundable - to include screenings, coffees, dinner & wine)

DOCUMENTARY FILM in the 21st Century
Bringing academics, practitioners and policy-makers together in a series of panel discussions and key-note addresses, alongside documentary screenings, this conference provides a forum for an interactive debate from diverse perspectives on documentary in the 21st century.
The conference will focus on three challenges to the documentary form: the increasing dominance of the reality television format, the current impact of documentary in the public sphere and the changing nature of the form in the digital age.

TITLE: National Union of Journalists, Biennial Irish Delegate Conference (advisory)

The NUJ is the only trade union affiliated to the Irish Congress of Trade Unions (ICTU)representing journalists working on the island of Ireland. There are over 3,500 members in the Republic and 800 in Northern Ireland. An advisory Irish Delegate Conference is held biennially of delegates from sectoral and geographic Branches.
The Preliminary Agenda is now available for consideration by branches.
Closing date for receipt of amendments to motions is Friday 14th September 2007.
